Soundcraft's MPM12/2 and MPM20/2 multipurpose mixers are designed for live sound, recording, multi-speaker installation, and house of worship applications. The models offer 12 (MPM12/2) or 20 (MPM20/2, pictured here) mono inputs respectively. Each model also includes two stereo input strips. Both models, which have three auxiliary busses for use as effects or monitor sends, include the company's GB30 mic preamp, which provides +22 dB headroom for all condenser microphones. Both models can also be converted for rack mounting with optional rack rails. Price: $689 (MPM12/2); $969 (MPM20/2). Availability: currently available (both models).
