AV integrator AVI-SPL's Control Room Group, which specializes in the design and installation of 24/7 mission critical facilities, rolled out its new Network Operations Center (NOC) Control Room in a Box (CRiB). According to the company, the system is custom-designed to meet a NOC operation staff's requirements and can be installed in less than a day.

The CRiB system includes a large-screen display with primary and secondary monitors, a video processor for source and display management, desktop monitors for operational observation, and an operator console and chair.

"We are pleased to introduce the CRiB system," said David Jones, sales manager for AVI-SPL's Control Room Group, in a statement. "The Control Room in a Box is a revolutionary approach to providing a seemingly custom-designed and full-function control room for the Network Operations Center and Security Operations Center client."

According to AVI-SPL, the CRiB is designed using industry standard components in order to fit a control center operator's budget and system requirements capabilities. At the same time, it is scalable and can be expanded in size and performance as a control center's requirements grow.
