AV Consultant • CMS Audiovisual Consultants
The bank of america building in New York was designed to earn LEED Platinum certification. As such, the AV designs from CMS Audiovisual Consultants had to be as green as possible.
The project spanned 38 floors, 50 presentation rooms, 63 Polycom-based videoconferencing rooms, three trading floors, an auditorium, TV studio, and more. CMS built environmental controls for shades and lighting into the AMX-based AV control systems, and it designed programmable timing systems for shutting down the client’s videowalls, Panasonic projectors, and widespread NEC displays.
According to CMS, having worked with architect Gensler and integrator A-V Services in the past was crucial to delivering a large-scale, integrated solution.
